Gitchi Manitou is known to some indigenous groups in North America as Great Spirit or Creator.
This lighter case features a copper embossed relief of the “Great Spirit” Petroglyph found at the Petroglyphs Provincial Park in Ontario Canada ( Approx 600 – 1100 years ago). This image is to represent the Creator of all, according to Native American Indians (Anishinabe, Algonquian, Cree) in the region.
This case is hand-fabricated by Anishinabe artist Dave Krouse.
This lighter case is solid and will give you many years of enjoyment…and a unique one-of-a-kind conversation piece.
This case is designed to fit the Bic brand of lighter.
The case measures 2 3/4″ or 7 cm in height and weights 1.29 oz or 34 grams.
The case ship in a nice gift box inside a bubbled envelope.
NOTE: This case does not ship with a Bic lighter.
** NOTE: This is mostly a made to order items. These cases take me a bit of time to complete, as there are a lot of hand-processes involved.
Why I make lighter cases: I make custom lighter cases for the Clipper brand of lighter (a really awesome little lighter), but I didn’t make any for the Bic. Since I use my Bic as much as I use a Clipper, why not make some interesting cases for it as well. I expect my line of Bic cases to be much larger as they have more surface area to work with, thus allowing me more artistic freedom to create new and interesting designs.
